Our client is seeking an experienced medical receptionist to work on permanent part-time basis in their clinic.

About the role

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to
Greeting and providing support to patients
Answering phone calls and dealing with patient queries
Booking appointments and updating patient information
Dealing and assisting with doctors and Nurses
Administration support and other ad hoc duties
Processing consultation payments and Medicare rebates
Triage emergencies when and if they occur
Always maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information
Excellent customer service, confidentiality and high ethics standard are a must in this role
This is a long-term position with excellent job security to work versatile days

Skills and experience
Medical Receptionist Experience Preferred
Strong communication skills with a friendly and confident personality




Well-presented and exceptional commitment to patient care/service. Previous experience will be well regarded
Highly organised, attention to detail and aptitude for multi-tasking
Fast learner and competence in using Microsoft Office
Experience in using Best Practice patient management system or equivalent is highly desirable
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Commitment to personal development and learning
