Maintenance Fitter- Permanent Day Shift

We're partnering with a well established manufacturer that's looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team in a permanent day shift role.

This isn't a job where you'll be stuck doing the same thing every day. You'll be hands-on with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, machinery upgrades and precision machining, playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly.

What you'll be doing
Preventative and breakdown maintenance
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
Machinery installations and upgrades
Operating manual lathes and mills to manufacture,



repair and modify components
Mechanical fitting and light fabrication
Contributing to continuous improvement projects

What you'll bring
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (essential)
Experience operating manual lathes and mills (essential)
Solid background maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment
Excellent mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
A strong commitment to safety and quality
