ABOUT US The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing positive that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and prospect.
Join The Salvation Army as a Volunteer Truck Driver and make a meaningful difference in your local community. Based at our Gympie Family Store, this rewarding volunteer role supports the collection and delivery of donated goods that help fund programs and services for people experiencing hardship.
Working alongside a dedicated team, you will safely operate a Salvation Army vehicle, assist with loading and unloading donations, and provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with donors and community members. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, staying active, and contributing to a cause that creates positive social impact.
Every donation collected helps The Salvation Army continue its mission of transforming lives and caring for people in need across Australia.
The Driver C Class provides efficient, safe, reliable, and courteous collection and delivery of all goods involved in operations of service.
