Forte Lift Services is growing and needs a hard working, enthusiastic trade assistant to join our team.

The trade assistant will be responsible for assisting qualified fitters, installing access equipment, and elevators, to the highest standards of quality and safety within the assigned site - generally across the greater metropolitan Melbourne region. Full training in lift installation is provided to all trade assistants with a view to progression within the company.

Daily tasks involve

-Installation of working decks, and winch systems
Carry out mechanical installation using methods that comply with all procedures and work instructions alongside trained fitters




Carry out work in accordance with the work schedule and within the standard hours of each task
Receiving and storing materials delivered to site and factory

To succeed in this role, you will:
Be self-motivated and highly organised

-Excellent mechanical aptitude
Enjoy working in a agile setting
Have a positive "can do attitude"
Be willing to learn recent skills
Be a team player
No previous elevator experience necessary, but would be highly regarded

Desirable qualifications

-Rigging ticket

-Scaffold licence

-Forklift licence
