The Role You’ll be working across a range of utility and civil infrastructure projects throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.
Excavation around live services
Service locating and exposure
Trenching and conduit installation
Pit installations
Cable hauling
Reinstatement works
General civil labouring and plant operation

We are looking for:

VESI Accredited Operators

You will have
Current VESI Accreditation (mandatory)
Excavator operating experience
Relevant plant tickets/licences
Experience working around underground utilities




Ability to read plans & work safely around live assets
Strong awareness of protected excavation practices

VESI Accredited Labourers

You will have
Current VESI Accreditation (mandatory)
Civil construction and/or utilities experience
White Card
MR or HR Licence
Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
Commitment to safety and teamwork

Labourer / Service locator Looking for a motivated labourer who is keen to develop a career in Service Locating while continuing to work as part of our Utilities crews. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in both field operations and underground service locating.

Your role will include:
Working as a Utilities Labourer across a variety of civil and utility projects.
Locating and marking underground electricity, gas, water, sewer, telecommunications and NBN services using industry-leading locating equipment.
Reading and interpreting BYDA plans and utility network drawings.
Recording locating information and working closely with supervisors, project managers and field crews.
Assisting with Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) activities while maintaining the highest safety standards and VESI compliance.
