Rate: $105.78 per hour inc super / $846.37 per day inc super (based 8 hours)

Talent is currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator / Senior Computer Systems Officer to join a large Queensland Government Department based in Brisbane, CBD.

The chance:

This is a senior technical role suited to someone with robust experience across Microsoft enterprise environments, PowerShell, C# .NET, SCCM, Intune, Azure and Microsoft Graph. You’ll work across complex operating system, endpoint and server platforms, helping design, maintain and improve critical ICT services.

Key Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting solutions across Windows operating systems, endpoint and server platforms
Developing automation, scripts and tooling using PowerShell and C# .NET
Working across SCCM, Intune, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Graph
Investigating complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust solutions
Building and maintaining configuration items and Graph-based integrations
Reviewing technical designs, code and implementation approaches




Producing high-quality technical documentation
Mentoring team members and contributing to peer reviews
Improving processes, knowledge sharing and operational supportability
Working collaboratively across technical teams to understand requirements and challenge assumptions where appropriate.

You’ll ideally bring:
Advanced experience across operating systems, endpoint and server platforms
Robust PowerShell scripting and automation capability
Development experience with C# .NET
Hands‑on experience with SCCM and Intune
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
Experience working with Microsoft Graph / Graph-based integrations
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills
An ability to design solutions that are practical, maintainable and supportable
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Experience reviewing technical work and mentoring other team members.
