Boilermaker – Project Work | 4–6 Week Assignments
An exciting chance is available for Boilermakers to join a leading Australian marine engineering company based in Murarrie .
This is a site-based project role , with projects typically lasting 4–6 weeks . You'll be working on the fabrication, repair and maintenance of large marine vessels and barges, with the next project commencing 11th August . Ongoing project opportunities are available for reliable performers.
$55.00/hr + lots of OT Penalties
4–6 week project assignments
Next project starts 11th August
Monday to Saturday, 10 hour days.

Duties
Fabricate,
repair and modify steel components on large marine vessels and barges
Perform MIG and Flux Core welding to a high standard
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Cut, fit, grind and finish fabricated components
Work safely in office while meeting project deadlines
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety
Skills & Experience
Trade Qualified Boilermaker (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade)
Previous heavy fabrication, marine, mining or structural steel experience
Robust MIG and Flux Core welding skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Construction White Card (essential)
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently and within a team
