Our client is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution sector. We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is perfect for a hands-on, commercially minded skilled who can work independently and take full ownership of their tasks.

You will work closely with the Regional Finance Manager to maintain accurate financials in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As the finance team grows, there is a clear pathway to step into a people leadership position.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and run the full month-end close process independently.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L;, balance sheets, and cash flow.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheets across multiple entities.
Post journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax obligations.
Support internal and external audit requirements,



year-end processes, and statutory reporting.
Provide variance analysis with transparent, meaningful commentary on financial performance.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI-driven efficiencies to improve daily operations.
Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments.

What You Bring
Proven experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
A background in a manufacturing or complex operational workplace is highly preferred.
A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of deliverables without needing micromanagement.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
