Maintenance Officer – Calvary Kingston Gardens – Springvale South location

Permanent part‑time role: willing to take 3 shifts per week for a total of 45.60 hours per fortnight.

About the role

The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, well‑maintained, and contribute to the well‑being of our residents. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facility, creating a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
Attend to general maintenance tasks as directed, including gardening where required.
Check maintenance logs and prioritise tasks, coordinating contractors as needed.
Under the guidance of the Home Manager, plan and schedule maintenance across the home.
Order and store stock as required.
Ensure the timely action of hazards,



incidents and other events that involve the maintenance function.

Qualifications
Experience in a Maintenance/Gardening role.
NDIS clearance check or willingness to obtain one.
Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Workings knowledge of WH&S; and infection control.
Demonstrated commitment to customer‑focused services.
Driver's licence, Class:
Previous experience and understanding of aged care, including retirement village/independent living settings.
Trade qualifications and/or experience.
