We're partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Platform Engineer to support the delivery and ongoing operation of critical enterprise infrastructure.

This is an exciting chance to join a high-performing team responsible for maintaining and modernising core platform services through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You'll play a key role in building secure, reliable and highly available on-premises infrastructure while driving continuous improvement across the platform setting.

Key responsibilities include:
Designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools
Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and operational processes
Administering and supporting Windows Server, VMware and enterprise platform technologies
Managing enterprise hardware, virtual infrastructure and SAN storage environments
Supporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology refresh initiatives
Monitoring platform performance, security and availability, and resolving complex technical issues
Developing and maintaining technical documentation, standards and operational procedures
Collaborating with internal technology teams to deliver reliable, secure and resilient platform services




Identifying opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency and platform reliability

About you:
Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Engineer within enterprise environments
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell DSC or similar
Experience automating infrastructure deployments and operational processes
Strong experience supporting Windows Server, VMware, enterprise hardware and SAN storage
Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams
Experience working within ITIL or structured operational environments is highly regarded

Requirements:
Australian Citizenship is required.
Experience working in secure or regulated environments will be highly regarded.
