The Roles:

Working under the direction of the Chief Engineer, you will support for the day-to-day maintenance requirements for the hotel operation. This is a hands-on role which involve carrying out ad hoc repairs in relation to all aspects of the building environment, including particular attention to the upkeep of our rooms, preventative maintenance and guest requests.



You will monitor and inspect the conditions of workspaces and equipment, ensuring to report on any areas where improvements are required. You will work in a qualified and safe manner, which is in accordance with relevant hotel standards and procedures.

Our ideal candidate will possess:
Established experience in similar role – hotel environment strongly preferred
“Hands on” maintenance and repairs experience strongly preferred
Personable demeanour with natural ability to interact with guests
Dedicated work ethic, with an eye for detail and accuracy
Strong multi-modal communication skills – including verbal, reading and written
Competency in working both collaboratively and independently
Technically minded, with confidence working with computers and systems
Creative and adaptive problem-solving skills and ability to manage deadlines
Full working rights in Australia with availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
