Your new company We are currently recruiting for multiple lawyer positions within a respected NSW Government agency. These are excellent opportunities for experienced workers compensation or personal injury lawyers seeking a high-impact role with flexibility and the chance to gain valuable government experience. Your current role Working within a specialist legal team, you will utilise your legal expertise to assess and manage funding applications, provide advice on complex legal issues and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services.

You will also identify opportunities for early resolution of matters, prepare legal advice and correspondence, and contribute to policy and procedural improvements.

Key Responsibilities - Assess and determine applications for legal assistance and grant funding.
Provide legal advice on workers compensation and related legal matters.
Draft legal advice, submissions, briefing notes, funding decisions and correspondence.




Identify and manage complex legal issues and associated risks.
Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with legal practitioners and other key stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed - A current Australian practicing certificate.
Strong experience in workers compensation and/or personal injury law.
Excellent drafting, analytical and statutory interpretation skills.
Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting. What you’ll get in return - 3-month contract
