We're currently recruiting for a Senior Commissioning Engineer (or Commissioning Manager level) to join a leading EPC contractor delivering a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in South Australia.

This is an excellent chance to work on one of Australia's growing renewable energy projects, with long-term career opportunities beyond project completion.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the National Commissioning Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering the commissioning of a utility-scale BESS and associated high-voltage infrastructure.

You'll be involved across:
HV substation commissioning
Protection and control testing
Balance of Plant (BoP) commissioning
Supporting OEMs during battery commissioning and hold-point testing
Working closely with construction, engineering and client teams to safely energise the project

2 weeks on / 1 week off roster
10-hour days
FIFO, DIDO or local options available (East Coast candidates encouraged to apply)

About You We're interested in speaking with Commissioning Engineers or Commissioning Managers who have experience in:
HV substations (132kV, 275kV or above preferred)
Protection & Control systems
Utility, renewable or transmission projects
Testing, commissioning and energisation activities
Working with EPC contractors, utilities or OEMs

BESS experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Robust HV commissioning experience is the priority.
