Commercial Sales Manager I C&I; Solar & Battery

Our client is a fast-growing EPC in startup mode, delivering commercial and industrial solar and battery projects across NSW. They're looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to drive C&I; sales in a lean, high-autonomy environment where you'll have real influence over how the sales function takes shape.

The Role

You’ll own the C&I; sales pipeline end-to-end, from prospecting through to signed contract, in a business where process is still being built and your input genuinely shapes it. This suits someone who thrives without heavy structure, wants to move fast, and is motivated by building something rather than plugging into an existing machine.

What you’ll be doing
Generating and converting C&I; solar and battery opportunities across NSW
Managing the full sales cycle, from initial client engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and contract close
Working directly with the engineering team to scope and price client solutions
Helping shape sales process, pricing strategy, and go-to-market approach as the business scales




Building relationships with commercial and industrial clients, brokers, and referral partners
Reporting directly to leadership, with visibility over broader business strategy

What You’ll Bring
Proven C&I; solar and/or battery sales experience, ideally within an EPC or installer workplace
Comfortable operating in a startup environment with limited structure and a quick pace of change
Strong consultative sales skills, able to guide commercial clients through technical decisions
Self-starter mentality, motivated by ownership rather than instruction
Existing NSW C&I; network highly regarded
