This is a commercially focused Senior Accountant prospect with one of Australia's largest players in the Renewable Energy sector, managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of wind and solar assets nationally.

The role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take real ownership across:
Budget and forecast support
partnering with the Financial Controller and asset managers on budget preparation, re-forecasting and variance analysis throughout the year
Asset-level financial management and accounts preparation
overseeing the financial position of individual assets within the portfolio, ensuring accounts are accurate, complete and ready for review at each reporting cycle
Weekly cash flow forecasting
building and maintaining rolling cash flow forecasts across multiple asset entities, flagging funding requirements and variances early
Ensuring debt undertakings are met across facility agreements
monitoring covenant compliance and liaising with lenders and internal stakeholders to ensure all facility obligations are tracked and satisfied
Board and statutory reporting, including board paper preparation
preparing accurate, well-presented reporting packs and board papers that support decision-making at the highest level of the business
