Really Awesome People is searching for a technically capable Run Engineer / Support Analyst to join a major enterprise banking technology environment in Sydney.

You will help keep testing tools, quality engineering platforms and automation services reliable, available and running smoothly.

This role blends hands-on technical support with DevOps, incident management, platform monitoring and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:
Monitoring platform health, availability and performance
Investigating incidents and resolving operational issues
Supporting releases, deployments, upgrades and patching
Managing tickets through Jira and ServiceNow
Conducting root cause analysis and preventing repeat incidents
Working with development, cloud, infrastructure, security and vendor teams
Improving support processes, automation and platform reliability
Maintaining technical runbooks and knowledge documentation

We’re looking for experience with:




Application, platform or production support
DevOps and CI/CD settings
Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Bamboo
Jira and Agile delivery
ServiceNow and ITIL-aligned support processes
Monitoring and observability tools
Cloud platforms, APIs and system integrations
Testing tools, automation or quality engineering platforms

Banking or financial services experience would be an advantage, but solid experience supporting complex enterprise platforms is equally valuable.
