NECA Education & Careers, in partnership with our host employers, isseeking dedicated and motivated 2nd and 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices to join the team. This is a great prospect for someone looking to continue their apprenticeship and gain diverse, hands-on experience with industry leaders. Several of our host employers across Metro Melbourne are seeking quality apprentices to work on a variety of projects including but not limited to data centres, apartments, hospitals, and more.
About the Role:
As your employer, NECA Education & Careers will provide ongoing mentoring and support to help you become a qualified A‑Grade Electrician. While majority of work will be based in the Western Suburbs,
you will rotate across various worksites in Metro Melbourne to gain a diverse range of experience within the commercial sector. NECA apprentices must be willing to travel across Melbourne and feel confident working with current people, including different A‑Grade Electricians on a variety of sites.
The ideal candidate will have:
All electrical trade school modules up to date, including all profiling cards current, accurate, and fully verified.
A solid commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
The ability to learn quickly and follow instructions on the job with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Consistent punctuality and solid performance both onsite and in trade school
Domestic or commercial electrical experience (highly regarded)
A current Drivers Licence and Access to your own vehicle
