Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a high-performing legal team supporting a broad range of property and estate matters. This is an excellent chance for an organised legal professional with conveyancing experience to work across a varied caseload while supporting experienced lawyers in delivering quality legal services.
About the role
Working within a collaborative legal setting, you will be responsible for providing high-quality paralegal support across residential and commercial conveyancing, probate applications and general property law matters. You'll manage files from commencement through to completion while liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage residential and uncomplicated commercial conveyancing matters from commencement through to settlement
Prepare and review contracts of sale, purchase documents and disclosure statements
Calculate settlement figures and undertake property searches
Prepare, coordinate and lodge Land Titles documentation
Complete duties assessments and stamping returns
Prepare and coordinate probate applications
Draft correspondence and maintain accurate legal files and records
Liaise with clients, real estate agents,
legal practitioners and other stakeholders
Support lawyers with a variety of property law and probate matters
Ensure accurate file management, billing and compliance with legal processes
About you
You will be an organised and detail-oriented Paralegal with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a quick-paced legal environment.
You will have:
Experience managing residential conveyancing matters end-to-end
Working knowledge of the conveyancing process and settlement procedures
Experience using PEXA
Robust document preparation and file management skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage critical deadlines
Solid customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Highly regarded:
Experience preparing and lodging probate applications
Experience within a government or in-house legal environment
Additional information
