You must be able to work well in a team, have a Certificate 3 & 4 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and Certificate 3 in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology and worked as a Diesel Motor Mechanic for over 1 year fully trained and be able to start immediately. We are offering $75K - $85K
detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in diesel engines in heavy plant and vehicles
dismantling and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components
repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components
perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
reassemble engines and parts after being repaired
test and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
