Project Manager (Civil & Earthworks) | Remote South Australia

Your new company A well-established civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure and earthworks projects in regional South Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys working closely with site teams and stakeholders while taking ownership of project delivery, commercial performance, programming and client relationships.

Operating on a 16 days on / 5 days off roster, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Your current role

Reporting to senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day delivery of civil and earthworks projects.
Overseeing project programming, cost control and reporting.
Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site-based teams.
Leading project planning and resource allocation.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with all WHS and environmental requirements.
Monitoring project performance against programme and budget.
Supporting the successful delivery of multiple projects across remote locations.

What you'll need to succeed




Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil construction, earthworks, mining services or related sectors.
Ideally, a robust background in roadworks.
Strong commercial and contractual management capabilities.
Experience managing remote or regional projects.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build robust client relationships.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of safety, risk management and project controls.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
