About the Role

Harris Smokehouse is looking for a full-time Production Worker to work on a production line — including a cryovac machine — at our state-of-the-art Mount Barker facility. This hands-on role is key to keeping quality and output on track, and calls for someone who takes safety, teamwork and attention to detail seriously.

What You'll Be Doing
Operating and managing the cryovac production line safely and efficiently
Portioning, packaging and preparing seafood products for distribution, meeting daily and weekly production targets
Monitoring line performance, running quality checks and reporting defects
Routine cleaning, basic maintenance, troubleshooting and close-down procedures
Maintaining accurate production records and clear communication with the team
Following food safety (HACCP) and WHS procedures at all times
Supporting other production lines when needed

What We're Looking For




Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
A reliable team player who can also work independently
Ability to lift up to 20kg
Comfortable working in a cold and wet setting
Understanding of, or willingness to follow, HACCP and WHS procedures
Punctual, hardworking and reliable.
