We are seeking a hands-on Production Leading Hand to support daily operations within a quick-paced food production and distribution. This role will suit candidates with previous experience working in a cold storage or temperature-controlled environment, where temperatures are typically maintained at around 5°C.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supporting team members on the floor, and ensuring all operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
Lead and support production and planning teams members during daily operations.
Ensure production schedules and daily targets are achieved.
Support with supplier management and stock management processes
Coordinate and oversee production line activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Identify and resolve any operational issues where required.
Support training, coaching, and development of team members.




Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

About You:
Strong leadership and communication abilities
A Go - Getter, using a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
Previous experience in warehousing, production or processing environments
Excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail.
A positive attitude with a solid commitment to safety and quality standards
