About the Role

We are looking for a Settlement Officer to join our Australia Operations team. You will support daily merchant settlements, reconciliation, and payment operations, ensuring transactions are accurate, timely, and properly controlled.

This role is ideal for candidates with 1+ year of experience in fintech, payments, banking operations, or settlement. We also welcome solid candidates from AP/AR, SSC, KYC/Compliance, or bank back-office backgrounds.

What You’ll Do
Process and monitor daily merchant settlements and payouts
Reconcile transaction data across internal systems and banking partners
Investigate discrepancies, failed transactions, and settlement issues




Monitor settlement cycles and identify irregularities
Work with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve issues
Maintain accurate records and support reporting and audits
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work

What We’re Looking For
1+ year of relevant experience in fintech, payments, banking, settlement, reconciliation, or operations
Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
Positive understanding of transactional processes and system logic
Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
Experience with KYC or payment processes is highly preferred
Strong ownership, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
