About the business

Penny For Pound are a busy bakery cafe, operating out of our custom built HQ in Moorabbin. We produce a high-quality product, baked fresh daily and delivered to various cafes around Melbourne 365 days a year. We create a wide range of sourdough bread, flakey pastries, cakes and cookies for our local community, and welcome them to our open production kitchen and cafe space.

We are a friendly, tight knit team, who take pride in what we do.

About the role/s
- Full time position – Certificate III in Patisserie or similar highly regarded.
Immediate start available.
This roles would suit someone keen to further improve skills and experience. Also open to students looking to learn hands on skills.
Previous experience in a production kitchen workplace will make you a strong candidate for this role, but is not essential.
Training Provided for someone with a strong work ethic, reliable, and interested in learning new things
Variety of Jobs and general kitchen duties such as: Shaping pastries, rolling croissants, laminating dough, prooving and baking assorted pastries, preparing fillings and garnishes, working within a team to full-fill production requirements.
