Reporting to the Parks & Gardens Team Leader, this position is responsible for maintenance and upgrades of Parks and Gardens throughout the Wattle Range Council area.



There are 2 casual roles available which will be based in Millicent with general roles including mowing, weed control, tree pruning and general garden maintenance to ensure Council maintains secure and well-presented parklands and open space areas for the public to use. The successful applicant will be required to:
Perform hand spraying
Perform planting and weeding of garden beds including weed spraying
Carry out required minor maintenance on irrigation equipment
Tree trimming and removal
Mowing lawns
Machinery operations and truck driving
General maintenance of Parks & Gardens

Applications must include a Cover Letter and Resume. The successful applicant will have:
Current MR class drivers’ licence
WhiteCard
Proven skills to work effectively within a team environment and take initiative
Relevant experience in a similar role
