SolydEra (Australia) Pty Ltd. Is a fuel cell company based in Dandenong South Victoria. It is owned by SolydEra SpA (Italy), a world leading solid oxide fuel cell manufacturer and marketer. SolydEra SpA also has a subsidiary in Switzerland.

R&D; facilities and team are established in Australia, and we have an excellent chance for a highly motivated and forward-thinking Mechanical Technician. In this role, you will support the team with limited pre-series production, equipment builds and facilities maintenance contributing to the success of fuel cell and electrolyser systems.

KEY Duties & Responsibilities The successful applicants will be responsible for:
Support low-volume pre-production builds while assisting with the validation and commissioning of new equipment within R&D; setting.
Ability to read engineering drawings including GD&T; tolerances and complete basic component quality checks.
Contribute to product improvements by reviewing and analysing existing processes
Assemble, install and maintain hydraulic systems used in custom-designed test stations.
Perform general facilities maintenance and coordinate the servicing and maintenance of site equipment.
Assist with receiving,



dispatch and inventory control activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience
Preferred, trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or related field
TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel
Basic Computer Literacy
Current Forklift Licence
