What You’ll Bring
Previous experience as kitchen hand, steward or similar in a hotel, pub, restaurant or café.
Strong understanding of food safety and OH&S; standards, with the ability to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen setting.
Ability to support daily kitchen operations efficiently and complete tasks as directed by senior chefs.
Skilled in minimising waste through careful handling of food and resources.
Positive attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork within kitchen and service teams.
Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts and tasks across different areas of the hotel.
Physically capable of performing manual duties including lifting, standing for extended periods and cleaning.
Commitment to qualified appearance and adherence to workplace policies and grooming standards.
Willingness to participate in training sessions to develop culinary skills and grow within the team.
