Job Brief Our client is looking for a qualified accountant to join their finance team and take ownership of the month end process. This role suits someone who is hands on, comfortable driving process improvement, and confident partnering with stakeholders across a large organisation.

About Our Client

Our client is a large, well established consumer facing business with a broad customer base and a complex operating workplace. The finance function is central to the business, working closely with teams across a range of functions to keep reporting accurate and processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Manage the end to end month end process, including accruals, reporting, profit and loss analysis and balance sheet reconciliation
Support the interim and annual controls and financial audit process




Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders on day to day finance matters and requests
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work through better use of systems
Support the annual budgeting process and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Provide financial modelling, analysis and commentary on recent projects and initiatives

Requirements
CA or CPA qualified accountant
Minimum two years experience post qualification
Robust stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
High attention to detail
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Comfortable embracing change within a business
Experience with a large ERP system is a plus but not essential
