Food Production Manager (Commercial)

Experienced Chef / Head Baker required to work and manage a small team in the preparation and dispatch of food from our central production factory in Bulimba to six stores and weekly markets across Brisbane.

Your duties will include:
Learn and control ALL aspects of production, including;
Bagel production
Freshly produced Bagel fillings.
Packaging all products ready for dispatch
Logistics
Control and implement strict food safety & hygiene practices set out in our Food Safety Program.
Implementing & recording of daily cleaning schedules
Recording of all food/fridge temperatures to comply with BCC regulations & guidelines.
Training of staff in Food Safety, Hygiene and WHS
Ordering and stock control.
Receiving, documenting & rotation of stock.
Inspiring team to reach daily production targets.




Rostering.

You will be required to have:
Excellent hygiene Practices
Positive Communication Skills (Essential).
5 years or more, managing Baking or food preparation.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or equivalent)
A basic understanding of Excel (Essential)
Australian Drivers License
Positive can-do attitude

In addition, you will need to be:
Contactable at all times when the factory is running
Prepared to step in at anytime you can’t fill a rostered position

This position is a full time, Monday to Friday, with the possibility to step in on weekends or nightshift when necessary.
