Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Backend Heavy)

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a solid backend development background to join a greenfield project in Sydney. You will be part of an exciting initiative to build "Product Hub", an internal application for CBA, aimed at transforming and digitising Product Governance processes within IB&M; by replacing existing manual workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
Develop and optimise database solutions using PostgreSQL.
Build responsive frontend components using ReactJS or NextJS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing,



and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience in Python development (core development, not scripting).
Extensive experience designing and developing REST APIs.
Experience with FastAPI.
Robust knowledge of PostgreSQL.
Experience with ReactJS and/or NextJS.
Valuable understanding of advanced Python concepts including:
Asyncio
Global Interpreter Lock (GIL)
Iterators
Decorators
Experience working with Python development tools such as:
Pytest
Poetry
uv
pip-tools
Experience working on production-grade applications.
Minimum 3 years of onsite experience is mandatory.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
