Quinn Allan are partnering with a well-established global organisation to recruit an Accountant to join their team-oriented finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant or Accountant looking to further develop their technical accounting skills within a large, high-performing finance function. The role offers broad exposure across month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial accounting, with opportunities to build your experience in a complex corporate workplace.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive finance team, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the month-end close process
Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
Preparing and posting accounting adjustments
Assisting with monthly reporting and financial analysis




Maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring accuracy across the general ledger
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and finance projects
Partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and provide financial support

About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Accountant position
Robust understanding of month-end processes and fundamental accounting principles
Experience preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Intermediate Excel skills
CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) is advantageous but not essential
