RPR Trades is seeking reliable and safety-focused Entry-Level CNC Laser Operators for a well-established Australian-owned metal processing and fabrication business based in Darra.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone with a forklift ticket and an interest in manufacturing, sheet metal, steel processing or CNC machinery. Full training and support will be provided for the right person, however previous experience in a production, warehouse, machine operating or fabrication environment will be highly regarded.

About the Role

You will be working in a modern manufacturing environment, assisting with the operation of CNC laser cutting equipment to produce accurate metal components to specification.





Duties may include
Assisting with the setup and operation of CNC laser cutting machines
Loading and unloading sheet material safely
Checking material type, thickness and quantity before production
Reading basic work orders, job sheets and production instructions
Monitoring machine operation during production
Checking finished parts for quality and accuracy
Using basic measuring equipment
Moving materials and finished products with a forklift
Replacing basic consumables under direction
Reporting faults, defects or material concerns
Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
