General Labour (Regrind)

Acu-Tech Piping Systems, a nationally recognised leader in the manufacture and supply of polyethylene pipe, fittings, and services, is looking for a General Labourer to join our team in Redbank, QLD.

You’ll be a key part of our recycling and regrind operations, helping us repurpose materials safely and efficiently. Tasks include:
Cutting, washing, and stacking pipe according to yard standards
Inspecting regrinds pipe and swarf for contaminants
Reporting any contamination concerns to the Regrind Supervisor and/or Operations Manager
Loading recyclable materials into shredders and granulators
Handling, storing, and disposing of materials properly and carefully
Transferring finished product to designated storage areas
Managing degraded bulk bags and maintaining clean workspaces
Conducting regular maintenance on bending machinery (including general servicing and part changes)
Recording maintenance activities and escalating repair needs
Assisting with warehouse stock checks and other general tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:




Valid chainsaw ticket (essential)
Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (HRWL FL) (required)
Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
Experience in the recycling industry or similar is highly desirable
Solid attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
Proactive and team-oriented, with the ability to work independently
Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment
