Our Women’s Mental Health service in Elsternwick offers a safe and supportive workplace for women on their recovery journey – and you can be part of that care. We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our team on a casual basis, Monday-Sunday AM/PM shifts.

As a valued member of our Support Services team, you may:
Prepare, deliver,



and serve meals with care and attention to detail
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for patients and staff
Assist with cleaning, kitchen duties, laundry, and stock management

What we’re looking for
Someone who is friendly, reliable, team-oriented and committed to protected practices and quality standards
Experience in food service, cleaning, hospitality, or similar roles (preferable)
Food Handler’s Certificate (or the willingness to undertake at Cabrini)
Knowledge of culinary and nutritional terminology including diet codes (preferable)
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, combined with the ability to build positive and skilled working relationships
