Excavator Operator

Everest Civil is seeking an experienced and motivated Digger Operator to join our growing team. We have opportunities available for both local and away work, working across a range of civil construction projects.

About the Role

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently across various civil construction projects. You will work closely with site supervisors and crew members to deliver high-quality outcomes while maintaining site safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Operate excavators and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform excavation, trenching, drainage, bulk earthworks, and final trim tasks.
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Work collaboratively with site crews and supervisors.




Follow project specifications and site safety requirements.
Maintain equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.

Skills & Experience

Essential
Proven experience operating excavators in a civil construction setting.
Extensive GPS Experience
Current Construction White Card.
Current driver's licence.
Robust understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to undertake away work when required.

Desirable
Stabilisation experience.
Additional plant operating tickets and experience.
HR or MR Licence.
