JS Careers is currently sourcing AML/Financial Crime Compliance qualified to join a leading Investment Bank in Sydney.

To be suitable for this position, you must have 5+ years of compliance and/or risk experience, specifically within AML/FCC, in either a major global bank, Australian bank or consultancy setting.

Duties will include -
Advising the business on their responsibility for complying with all relevant AML Laws, Rules, Regulations and Group policies;
Provide advisory support and coordination on Group policy and relevant local implementation;
Participate in a range of relevant global initiatives and projects;
Provide advisory support on all sanctions/AML/CFT related issues as well as in the analysis, interpretation and application of global policies and procedures (such as Global KYC Policy, Global Sanctions Policy etc.);




Participate in and provide advisory support on transactions to all business lines within the region, including but not limited to DCM transactions, corporate finance transactions, structured finance transactions, global markets, corporate & investment banking activities;
Provide support in the establishment of appropriate AML/CFT/sanctions controls, monitoring and procedure framework;
Provide training to the business relating to AML/FCC matters.

Suitable candidates will possess -
5+ years of AML compliance experience;
Degree qualification in a relevant discipline;
Preferably further education in AML-related courses;
Understanding of investment banking products and processes;
An ability to work autonomously;
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
