Role: ETL Technical Business Analyst

Must Have Skills:
The role involves analysing data requirements, defining transformation logic, and ensuring high-quality data integration across systems. The ideal candidate must have solid expertise in data analysis, ETL processes, and stakeholder engagement
Nice to Have Skills:
Understanding of ETL concepts (Extract, Transform, Load)
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica MDM, PowerCenter, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or equivalent
Data Warehousing concepts (EDW, Data Marts, Star/Snowflake Schema)
Data Mapping and Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation

We are seeking a skilled Onshore ETL Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. The role involves analysing data requirements, defining transformation logic, and ensuring high-quality data integration across systems. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in data analysis, ETL processes, and stakeholder engagement .
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
Gather and analyze business and data requirements from stakeholders
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
Define and document Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM)
Data Analysis & Profiling
Analyze source systems, schemas, and data flows
Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessment
Identify data issues, gaps, and inconsistencies
ETL & Data Integration Support
Collaborate with ETL developers to:
Define data transformation rules
Support data cleansing and enrichment requirements
Ensure data lineage and traceability
Support integration across multiple systems
Documentation
Create and maintain:
Source-to-Target Mapping documents
Data dictionaries and metadata
Process and data flow diagrams
Document business rules and transformation logic
Testing & Validation
Develop test scenarios, test cases, and expected results
Support SIT and UAT cycles
Validate ETL outputs against business requirements and data rules
Stakeholder Management
Act as a liaison between business, data engineers, and QA teams
Facilitate discussions, clarify requirements, and resolve issues
Provide regular status updates and documentation
Minimum Years of Experience : 8 Years
