Female Disability Support Worker (ABN) – Immediate Start | St Albans VIC

Shining Star Support Services is seeking two experienced female Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide ongoing support to a participant located in St Albans, VIC.

This is a permanent, long-term opportunity for reliable support workers who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care. Our participant has Cerebral Palsy and follows a structured daily routine, so we are looking for workers who are consistent, patient, and able to build a trusting relationship.

Available Shifts

Position 1
Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
7:30am – 9:30am

Position 2
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
7:30am – 9:30am

Immediate start available.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include
Providing personal care, including assistance with morning routines and personal hygiene.
Assisting with transfers using a hoist.
Following the participant's established routine and support plan.
Providing respectful, reliable, and person-centred support.
Maintaining accurate progress notes and communication with the care team.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must
Be female
Be 30 years of age or older.




Hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent.
Have previous experience providing personal care and supporting participants with physical disabilities.
Have experience using a hoist.
Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Hold a current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
Hold a current Police Check.
Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
Be working under an ABN.
Have excellent communication skills and a skilled, reliable attitude.
