Conduct comprehensive security control assessments and reviews across technology environments
Assess the effectiveness of existing security configurations, processes, and controls
Perform security risk assessments and identify control deficiencies and remediation opportunities
Evaluate third-party security risks and vendor security assurance requirements
Review security architectures, configurations, and control implementations against relevant security frameworks
Develop detailed assessment reports outlining findings, risks, recommendations, and improvement plans
Present assessment outcomes and recommendations to technical teams, senior stakeholders, and leadership groups
Work closely with internal technology, security, and business teams to support remediation activities
A successful Cyber Security - Analyst / Assessor should have:
Proven experience in security controls assessment and security assurance activities
Experience in conducting third party risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
Knowledge of VPDSS, PSPF, ISM, SOC 2 Controls and Assurance Frameworks
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify vulnerabilities, control gaps, and remediation actions
Solid stakeholder engagement, communication, and report-writing capabilities
Ability to translate technical findings into business-focused recommendations
