In this role, you will take ownership of a small kitchen environment, running a food service menu featuring pub-style food and catering platters. This is a prospect for an experienced kitchen professional who excels at managing their own workflow, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and delivering great food in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities
Menu Execution: Efficiently prepare and run a food service menu featuring pub-style food.
Catering &
Platters: Assemble and beautifully present high-quality catering platters for events and large group bookings.
Workflow Management: Maintain an organized kitchen, manage stock levels, and optimize workflow to ensure fast, consistent service.
Hygiene &
Safety: Uphold exceptional kitchen cleanliness, compliance, and food safety standards.
Teamwork: Work independently during quiet periods and collaborate seamlessly with front-of-house staff during peak rushes.

Shift Details &
Availability
Venue Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Mandatory Availability: You must be available to work Friday evenings and Saturdays.



Shifts will be allocated casually across our operating hours.

Requirements &
Qualifications
Work Eligibility: Must have full unrestricted right to work in Australia. Please note that no visa sponsorship opportunities are available for this position.
RSA: Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
Food Safety: Certified Food Safety Supervisor qualification.
Kitchen Experience: Proven experience running a small kitchen, preparing pub food menus, and creating catering platters.
Skills: Strong workflow organization, ability to work fast under pressure, and an independent work ethic.

Paid under the Hospitality Industry Award [MA000009] at Level 2 or Level 3, depending on skills and experience.
Casual loading plus applicable late night, Friday evening, and Saturday penalty rates.

Pay: $33.05 – $34.96 per hour
