We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Drill Fitters to join our growing team supporting leading mining and exploration operations across Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of drill rigs while enjoying the perks of a FIFO or DIDO lifestyle. Potential for full time employment.

About the Role

As a Drill Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repair of surface drilling equipment to ensure maximum reliability and performance across site operations.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on drilling equipment.
Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
Complete inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
Work collaboratively with drill crews, supervisors, and site personnel.
Minimise equipment downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repairs.





Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:
Australian Trade Qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or equivalent.
Previous experience maintaining surface drill rigs.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience with surface exploration and/or grade control drill rigs and equipment highly regarded.
Basic electrical experience
Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
