About the role The Colley Hotel is seeking a talented casual chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. As a casual chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

This is a hands-on position based in our modern kitchen located in Glenelg, SA 5045. The casual position will be required to be available Monday to Sunday for a seven day roster.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a wide variety of high-quality dishes from our diverse menu
Ensuring all food preparation and cooking tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen setting
Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to guest requests
Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations

What we're looking for
Formal chef training and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Able to work, pans, grill and fryer section
Robust working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation




Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Food safety certification and a current police check
