We are seeking a reliable and experienced Café Cook / All-Rounder to manage our small kitchen operations at Piccolo Me Macquarie Hospital while also assisting with general café duties. This role suits someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and can confidently prepare quality food while supporting the front of house when needed.

Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for daily kitchen operations
Prepare sandwiches, breakfast, and lunch items
Handle food preparation and catering orders
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met
Complete daily prep and stock rotation
Assist with other café tasks as required, including:
Taking customer orders
Making coffee and drinks
General customer service support

Requirements:
Previous experience as a cook in a café or similar setting
Ability to work independently and manage kitchen workflow




Robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Food Safety Supervisor certification is a plus
Basic barista skills or willingness to learn
Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
Valuable communication and time management skills
