About the role
Managing all legal aspects of the business;
Maintaining all compliance & regulatory requirements;
Handling and promoting all health, safety and setting objectives and policies;
Drafting, amending and negotiating all commercial contracts ;




Administering and managing the contract database;
Liasing with external law firms; and
Supporting overseas legal requirements when needed.

The ideal candidate
Senior Legal Counsel (8+ years PQE) with experience advising large corporate organisations ideally involved in the resources sector (mining, oil, gas etc); with
The ability to work autonomously as well as engage collaboratively with key stakeholders globally; and
Currently working for a major law firm or an in-house legal team of a large corporation.
