RMB Logistics is looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our Queensland depot as Casual Depot Hands.
This could be a excellent fit if you already work during the day, are studying, or simply want to pick up some extra casual work in the afternoons, evenings or on weekends.
No transport or depot experience is necessary. We're looking for people who are reliable, willing to get in and help, and don't mind physical, hands-on work.
About the Work
Our depot gets busy when trucks arrive and we need extra hands to help get them unloaded, reloaded and back on the road.
The work will mainly involve:
Loading and unloading trucks
Moving, sorting and staging freight
Assisting drivers with loading and unloading
Preparing freight for dispatch
Keeping the depot and loading areas clean, organised and protected
General hands-on depot duties
When Would You Work?
This is casual, as-needed work, so we're looking to build a pool of people we can call on depending on workload and truck movements.
Most work will be in the afternoons and evenings
Start times can vary, generally between 3:00pm and 7:00pm
Shifts will usually be around 4 to 8 hours
Sunday work is also available
You can let us know what days and times you're generally available
There are no guaranteed hours – shifts will depend on operational requirements and your availability
Some flexibility is helpful because truck arrival times can change.
Who Would This Suit?
You don't need previous experience. This role could suit someone looking for additional casual income alongside other work, study or commitments.

Are willing to work and get stuck in
Are comfortable doing physical, hands-on work
Can follow instructions and work safely
Work well with others
Are reasonably versatile with your availability
A current forklift licence would be an advantage, but it isn't essential.
