Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic pharmacy students to join our team as Casual Bank Technicians, working across Monash Health hospital sites. In this role, you will be guided by Pharmacy Technician Team Leaders and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred medication supply services.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain appropriate stock levels of pharmaceuticals, consumables and stationery.
Conduct regular expiry date checking and supply and distribute pharmaceuticals to clinical and other areas, with manual handling of boxes up to approximately 10kg.
Participate in rostered shifts, including rotating rosters, weekends and public holidays, in line with service requirements.
Work in shifts ranging from 3 to 8hours: weekdays 8:30am–5:15pm, 5pm–8pm; weekends and public holidays 8:30am–4:30pm or 12pm–8pm.
Work flexibly across all sites as required, including travel to other Monash Health locations.

About You
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) in Australia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




Ability to work effectively in teams and take direction from supervisors.
Commitment to continued professional development and education.
Previous community or hospital pharmacy student or technician experience in Australia (desirable).
Must be in the 2nd or 3rd year of studies.

Training & Support

Successful applicants will attend a 2‑day face‑to‑face workshop in September 2026 and another in October 2026, hosted by Monash Health Pharmacy Department, covering hospital pharmacy services, dispensary services and medication supply processes.
