We are searching for a self‑motivated, reliable, energetic Mechanical Fitter to join the great team in Beresfield.

Responsibilities
Strip and assess mineral processing equipment
Refurbish mineral processing equipment
Complete modifications to mineral processing equipment
Repair, assemble, install items in accordance with approved procedures and drawings
Construct plant equipment
Carry out workshop duties as requested by leaders
Complete all allocated work as part of the on‑the‑job training supplied by FLSmidth Pty Limited
Adhere to all legislative requirements and other company policies and procedures
Adhere to FLSmidth safety policies and procedures
Represent FLSmidth Pty Limited positively and responsibly at all times

What You Bring
Trade certificate in fitting
Previous employment with repair and maintenance of mineral processing equipment (crushers, vibrating screens, gearboxes)
Basic welding skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
A team player approach
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required (training provided if required)
Forklift licence
Driver’s licence
