About the Role

Elite Heating & Cooling is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to join our growing team in Canberra. This is an excellent chance for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in the HVAC industry.

As an apprentice, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and formal vocational education, working alongside experienced technicians to develop the skills and qualifications required to become a fully qualified Air Conditioning Technician.

Key Responsibilities
Assist qualified technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning systems
Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration faults
Develop practical skills in the protected use and handling of tools, equipment, and refrigerants
Attend scheduled training and vocational education as part of your apprenticeship
Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service

About You
A genuine interest in the trades and a strong desire to learn the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration industry
Willingness to work hard, take direction, and develop new skills
Good communication skills, problem-solving ability,



and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Committed to completing your apprenticeship and obtaining relevant qualifications
