No prior experience required The prospect Volunteering at the Red Cross Shop in Woden in a back-of-house capacity. By joining the team, you will be assisting the team with the processing of donations and stock from our national warehouse.

This may include: Sorting donations Hanging product

Tagging and pricing product from approved price bins

Steaming garments

Boxing up markdown items and excess. Primary focus of this volunteer position is to assist in getting current product onto the shop floor for sale, helping us achieve our revenue targets to support the programs of Red Cross. Each year, we rescue 2750 tonnes of clothing from landfill, give opportunities to 5000 volunteers, and generate funds to help Red Cross support vulnerable people in Australia and around the world. The proceeds from the sale of items support the vital everyday work of Red Cross, providing relief in times of crisis and care where it's needed most.

You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16)

Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross)
