Position: General Practitioner, MM3 & DPA

Location: Armidale, NSW

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join a busy team in Armidale, NSW. This position is open to both Australian and overseas trained doctors who hold a specialist general practice qualification recognised by the RACGP.

As a General Practitioner in Armidale, you will have the prospect to work with a diverse patient population and provide comprehensive medical care to individuals and families in the Armidale community. You will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health practitioners, and support staff, to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities
Conducting consultations with patients to assess and diagnose medical conditions
Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and referrals to specialists
Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Providing health education and preventative care advice to patients
Collaborating with other healthcare specialists to ensure continuity of care for patients




Participating in practice meetings and professional development activities

Requirements
Medical degree from a recognized institution
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or ability to gain this
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
